Go on a Pokémon Hunt!
It all started with the overactive imagination of a video game developer in the 90s! The original idea was simple: the Pokémon world is populated by creatures with fantastic powers that must be caught and trained so that you win battles and become the Pokémon Master. From a first game released on Game Boy in 1996, the whole Pokemon world was born: more than 30 video games of the official license, more than 20 animated movies and an anime of more than 1170 episodes at the moment, several manga series and a multitude of derivative products that geeks all over the world are snatching up!
What Is the Pokémon World?
In this world straight from the imagination of Satoshi Tajiri, Pokemon replace animals and live in harmony with humans. Each Pokémon has a supernatural ability specific to its race: fire, water, lightning... and its strength depends on its experience and training. In the Pokémon world, trainers travel the world looking for Pokémon to catch and train them to compete in battles organized by the Pokémon League in the many Pokémon arenas. The trainer who defeats the League's Master will be awarded the coveted title of Pokémon Master. A trainer can start training as early as 10 years old and travels the world in search of the rarest and strongest Pokémon. They carry their Pokémon in Pokeballs (those famous red and white balls) and can consult the information given by other trainers thanks to their pokedex about the Pokémon they want to catch and train.
Faced with the success of the first video games and the enthusiasm of players around the world for the Pokémon world, Satoshi Tajiri, then his successors Junichi Masuda and Ken Sugimori, imagined an anime retracing the adventures of Sacha (Satoshi in Japanese) - a young trainer who dreams of one day becoming the Pokemon Master -, his favorite Pokémon, Pikachu, and their friends Misty (aka Kasumi) and Brock (aka Takeshi), then Flora (Haruka), Dawn (Hikari) and Jackie (Kenji). Together, they will have to thwart the traps set by their enemies (other teams of trainers such as Team Rocket), overcome obstacles, catch and train new Pokémon and learn new fighting techniques.
